Spicy Tequila Sunrise

At this point I think everyone is getting creative with what they have, which is how I came up with this drink. I love a good tequila sunrise, there's no doubt, so when I wanted a fun drink to lift my spirits, (I've been losing in our marathon of Scrabble) I threw this together. I've been infusing tequila for a while now, I love spicy margaritas, so this was a no-brainer. I of course over bought on citrus and for some reason there has been a shortage on regular seltzer at our grocery store coconut seltzer it was, but don't worry this will work with any seltzer water or club soda. If you don't have maraschino cherries, go for grenadine, or leave it out, it works either way! This makes one drink, but double the ingredients for more. Cheers!

Ingredients:

2 oz fresno or jalapeno pepper infused tequila
2 Cara Cara oranges fresh juice, about 1/2 cup (or any orange)
1 maraschino cherry
1 tsp maraschino cherry juice (use grenadine as alternative)
splash of coconut seltzer water (or your favorite bubbly)

Directions:

1. Fill your glass with ice
2. Add all your ingredients and finish off with the seltzer at the end!
