Salted Caramel Mousse

If I'm going to be honest with you there is nothing more decadent than using good butter and heavy cream as a main ingredient in your dessert. With that, I have another dessert just for you that is beyond simple and can use either homemade caramel or store bought for a quick treat! Luckily you can find a lot of pre-made caramel sauces now that are incredible, so no need to worry if you don't have time to make your own! Due to the richness of this mousse, this will serve 4 people. Cheers!

Ingredients:

1/4 cup chilled Caramel Sauce
2/3 cup heavy whipping cream
1/4 tsp sea salt

Directions:

1. Chill your caramel sauce in the fridge for at least 2 hours
2. In a stand mixer (or with a hand mixer) whip your heavy cream until you get stiff peaks. For better results, use a cold metal bowl to whip your cream in
3. Remove 1/3 of the whipped whip cream and hold to the side
4. Slowly add your caramel sauce and salt to the remaining whipped cream and fold carefully
5. Once mixed fully add the rest of your whipped cream and fold carefully
6. Place back in fridge for at least 10 minutes before serving!
